There is plenty to do in and around the area including sports, walks, shopping and a wide variety of food and drink to sample. The surrounding area of Ballycastle is very popular with tourists and includes the three best-known features of Northern Ireland - The Giant's Causeway, the Glens of Antrim and Rathlin Island. Ballycastle is the perfect central location from which to organise day trips.
Go west along the Causeway coast to Kinbane castle, Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge , Ballintoy, Dunseverick, Portbraddon, the Giant's Causeway and Bushmills Distillery.
Go east through the picturesque Glens of Antrim and visit the villages of Cushendun, Cushendall and Carnlough en-route. Glenarriffe Forest Park, Ballypatrick Forest Drive and Watertop farm offer enjoyment for all the family.
Go north by boat to Mull of Kintyre, Sanda Island and Rathlin Island . By car visit Fairhead, Murlough Bay and Torr head for breath-taking views of the North Antrim coast
