Q: How early do I need to book?

We recommend that you book as early as possible especially if you are planning your holiday for the busy months of July and August. Ireland has numerous bank holidays during the summer season and these tend to be booked up at an early stage.

Q: Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, a damage deposit of £150 is required on booking of a property. This deposit is returned to you in full on your departure providing that the houses are left in a clean and tidy condition. A deposit is required to cover any breakages or damage that may occur during your stay. A credit card number, post dated chouse or cash is accepted. Please be advised that this damage deposit is paid on top of the quoted price, for example, if you wish to stay during July the price for the week is £450 however upon booking you will be obliged to pay a damage deposit of £150 with the remaining £450 to be paid at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Upon departure the deposit of £150 will be returned in full after an inspection by the management.

Q: Do I require a credit card to book online?

When you book online we ask for valid credit/debit card details to be provided when making the booking. However no payment will be taken from your account at this stage. You booking will be confirmed within 1 working day via e-mail (please note that this is in addition to the automatic e-mail sent.) If you wish to pay the deposit by credit/debit card there will be a link in the e-mail to allow you to pay using Pay Pal in a secure environment. All major credit/debit cards are accepted. We are also happy to receive cheques. Details of who to make cheques payable to and where to send them will be included in the e-mail.

Q: When do I pay in full for my holiday?

The balance of monies payable for your stay is expected 2-4 weeks prior to your arrival. If you booked online you will be sent an e-mail to remind you when the balance is payable and how you can pay it. Any method of payment can be used to pay the balance (cheque, credit/debit card, electronic transfer) and this does not need to be the same method as was used to pay the deposit.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel or change my reservation?

Any changes to your reservation must be made as early as possible by phone, fax or e-mail.
In the event of a cancellation deposits are non-refundable but may be used for a booking at another stage. In the event of a no-show we are obliged to hold all monies paid to us. Your booking will be cancelled if your balance has not been paid 2 weeks before your arrival date.

Q: What time can I check-in?

Check-in time is from 4pm onwards. It would be preferable if the management was notified a day in advance with regard to your estimated arrival time. Earlier registration may be possible through prior contact.

Check-out time is strictly 11am during the Summer months of July & August. At other times we try to be as flexible as possible. Late check outs must be pre-arranged.  We ask that houses be left as they were found.
